GORILLA TREKKING SAFARIS
We have several offers for travelers who would like to spend their holiday in Gorilla safaris. Gorilla tracking is carried out in Volcanoes National Park in the northeastern part of the country bordering Uganda and Congo. The park protects the remaining few of some of the 720 mountain gorillas that still live in the world. Gorilla Tracking is carried out in five gorilla groups within the Park. This occurs within the bamboo-covered slopes of Rwanda's Virunga Volcanoes from where the late Dian Fossey studied the behaviour of the endangered mountain gorilla for 20 years, followed by the filmmakers who shot 'Gorillas in the Mist' in the same location.
