Uganda And Rwanda Gorilla Safaris

Day 1 TRANSFER TO PERC DES VOLCANS

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali and transfer you to Perc Des Volcano. The journey north goes through the stunning terraced hillsides that are spiced   with much of Rwanda’s beautiful panorama. Progressively driving by the foothills of the breathtaking Virunga volcanoes, sometimes with as many as five peaks discernible. Dinner and over night at Mt. Gorilla nest / Kinigi Guest House.

Day 2 GORILLA TRACKING IN RWANDA

On this day, we will go gorilla tracking in Perc National des Volcans. Tracking these non violent primates through the light mountain forest on the inclines of the Virungas is a mysterious event. On encounter of the gorillas, you will squander an hour with them, and be back at the lodge in time for a late lunch! Some gorilla families however are more subtle and tracking them can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy. And for this case, you are advised to carry packed lunch and enough water for the long treks. Dinner and overnight at Mt. Gorilla nest / Kinigi Guest House. Day 3 TRANSFER TO UGANDA BWINDI NATIONAL PARK

Depart to Bwindi national park. On arrival you will have lunch and then after visit the Buhoma villages. Dinner and over night at Gorilla resort camp or Buhoma  rest camp.

Day 4 WEDNESDAY

This is one of the awaited for day with one of the highlight activities of this tour. Well prepared with you packed lunch, cameras, water, rain jackets, long pair of trouser and jungle boots on, you will assemble for briefing from the rangers about gorilla tracking the great adventure and experience!  The time taken to encounter these peaceful primates is unpredictable for it may take1-10 hours. Nevertheless, on encounter, one may be forced to say, it is stunning!!!! After the adventure a certificate awaits the successful tracker. The day is not easy at times but appealing. Return to your lodge for dinner and over night.

Day 5 THURSDAY

Depart to Kampala and have a stop over at the Equator arriving in the evening. IF your flight is for today, you will be then transferred to the airport, if it is not, we will drop you at your hotel in Kampala.

Alternatively, if you are to pick your flight in Rwanda Kigali, you will be taken to Kanombe airport and for this case; you will have to track Gorillas in Nkuringo family of Bwindi which is the nearest group to Rwanda.
