MURCHISON FALLS SAFARI - 4 DAYS WILDLIFE / GAME VIEWING SAFARI

A 4 day Murchison Falls Safari which starts and ends in Kampala. This safari takes you to Uganda’s largest national park and the most beautiful destination for game viewing safaris. The park is also an important safari destination for chimpanzee tracking. This park protects a chunk of untamed African savannah bisected by the mighty river Nile.  The meandering Victoria Nile and the dramatic Murchison Falls make this park a Must-be-visited safari destination in Uganda and probably the best scenic tourist destination in Africa. The park adopts its name from the dramatic Murchison Falls, which are formed from a point where the world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment, plunging into a frothing pool 43m below. On your Uganda safari through this stunning semi- arid environment, you may see a variety of wildlife which includes giraffes, side-striped jackals, several herds of elephants, buffaloes, the beautiful Uganda kob, warthogs, hartebeests, and lions. Apart from game viewing, the launch trip to the bottom of the Falls is another memorable adventure giving you the experience of the mighty Biblical Nile. On the launch you may see schools of crocodiles and hippos basking on the river banks as well as a variety of birds.
